Promoting Action Toward Health (PATH)

This study involved running a randomized controlled efficacy trial of Promoting Action Toward Health (PATH), a health-enhancement and risk reduction intervention targeting newly HIV diagnosed men who have sex with men (MSM). The experimental and comparison interventions were delivered to a total of 200 men at two community health clinics. The main outcomes were (1) suppression of HIV viral load; (2) uptake of care and adherence to treatment; and (3) HIV transmission risk behavior.
