A psychology research laboratory at the University of California, Los Angeles

Our Mission

The mission of our lab is to improve the lives of those who are disproportionally affected by HIV, substance use and mental health problems, and other related health issues. We focus on exploring the psychological, social, and cultural contexts that shape individual- and community-level health outcomes. Our lab seeks to improve health disparities through the development of innovative, culturally-grounded interventions to reduce risk and improve health.
